Really liking this interface. via Thrillist.
I lurve MeetinBetweenUs! I will probably use it at least a few times a week. The interface is simple and great.

Just had dinner/drinks with Luke, Amanda & Michael, Chrysanthe & Amit.
The result: strong mixed feelings about the not-even-open-yet place, ready for reviews on several websites.
Mareen, I’m so glad I got to hang with you and Stefan my last night in NYC, and your first!
Things I just learned on the way to the airport...
The A train never arrived this afternoon so I had to find a car service in Brooklyn to take me to JFK. $44 instead of $5 for the airtrain. :(
But I used the opportunity to learn how taxi fares are structured.
Private car service:
car service owns the car
driver and car service split the fare 50/50
driver pays for gas, car service pays for everything else and lines up jobs

Recipe: Vegan Mac 'n' Cheese Pancakes!
vegansaurus:
So yesterday, Vegansaur Jonas sent me a link to this video on the NY Times website. It features Kenny Shopsin (he’s this fabulous cursing muppet dude. Basically, he’s Bruce Vilanch done over as a truck stop chef. Seriously, watch the video, this guy’s the best.*) making something that blew my mind, MAC ‘N’ CHEESE PANCAKES! I knew I had to have them for dinner, if not right now! So,...

Ananda Fuara!
vegansaurus:
Ananda Fuara is run by a cult! Who cares? They are not creepy. They are a peaceful cult comprised of sweet folks who love to weight lift and eat healthy, delicious vegetarian food. Frankly, I know more than one fat ass who might benefit from such a life style. And yes, I’m talking about me. And also you. Sir Fatty Faton of Fattinshire. Pet peeve #52: When meat eaters complain about...

This is a new weekly feature on CollegeHumor. I love the idea.
Favorite line from this edition: George W. Bush removed “Giving A Fuck” from his interests.
This is so good!
Here’s a bootstrapper’s/marketer’s/entrepreneur’s/fast-rising executive’s effort diet. Go through the list and decide whether or not it’s worth it. Or make up your own diet. Effort is a choice, at least make it on purpose:
Delete 120 minutes a day of ‘spare time’ from your life. This can include TV, reading the newspaper, commuting, wasting time in...

A classic trick from any bank robbery getaway movie, but credit is due when someone actually pulls it off.
That is so cool.

Sony’s automated photographer demo from Photokina 2008. It scans left/right/up/down for faces, then zooms in and takes a photo when people smile.
This is pretty awesome. Now if they could only make it hover and drift around the room by itself…
